MARIO TRICOCI SELECTS WINNER OF 2012
MARIO, MAKE ME A MODEL COMPETITION
Caroline Mazurek of Chicago Captures Title
After three months of intense training and competition, beauty and style
innovator Mario Tricoci named Caroline Mazurek of Chicago the 2012 Mario,
Make Me a Model winner at the conclusion of the Mario Tricoci &
vitaminwater® Present Fashion Takes Flight show at Fashion Focus Chicago.
Mazurek and finalists Laura Almazan (Homer Glen, Ill.), Birgit Dalgaard (Sun
Prairie, Ill.), Olivia Simmons (Libertyville, Ill.), Mana Winkler (Naples, Fla.)
walked the runway alongside professional models at *Fashion Takes Flight*
as a final challenge in the Mario, Make Me a Model competition. The fashion
show capped off a 12-week transformation, which included a makeover from
Mario Tricoci Hair Salons & Day Spas, runway instruction by Factor Women,
and personal training with Formula Fitness Clubs.
"The transformation in each of these women has been inspiring. As I followed
their progress through the program, I knew this was going to be a hard
decision," Tricoci said. "However, once I saw Caroline walking the runway I
had no doubt she was the winner."
Six areas influence Mario Tricoci's final decision on the winner: makeover
results; the *Michigan Avenue *magazine fashion shoot; the CBS-2 TV spot;
fitness training; the runway walk; and the public vote.
As the winner of Mario, Make Me a Model, Mazurek will receive a five-night
trip for two to Riu Palace Las Americas, Cancun, Mexico, which includes
meals and drinks at the resort, Mazurek will also receive $500 in COSE by
Mario Tricoci cosmetics and a one-year membership to Fitness Formula
Clubs. All of the finalists will be featured in a fashion advertorial spread in
Michigan Avenue magazine's November issue and are being considered for a
modeling contract with Factor Women.
