The Tie Bar, the #1 destination for men's accessories, opened a
pop-up shop in Chicago, at 918 West Armitage in the heart of the
Lincoln Park neighborhood. The brand's first pop-up shop concept will
remain open for two months and offer an exclusive sampling of The Tie
Bar's latest offerings.
Shoppers get a taste of what the brand has become synonymous with
- on-trend and affordable neckties, bow ties, tie bars, pocket squares,
socks, and more. The Tie Bar products are inspired by travel, art,
architecture, textiles, history, and popular culture. Guests will be able
to shop a curated collection of the company's latest styles and
collaborations with Tie The Knot by Modern Family's Jesse Tyler
Ferguson,and NBA star Dwyane Wade.
The 3,200 sq.ft.space showcases a modern, masculine design with a
slight rustic twist. "We wanted a space that would be the perfect
balance to our product," says Allyson Wicha Lewis, Vice President of
Merchandising. "So we chose a space with an urban, industrial feel
that would give just the right amount of contrast to the refined
sophistication of our brand. A mix of exposed brick, throw rugs, floor
lamps, local art, and other decorative accessories will bring a lived-in
feel to the modern space. "Ultimately, we wanted to create an
environment that guys would want to hang out in," adds Wicha Lewis.
